If it had to describe it in few words would say: a Rainbow of colors, aromas and flavors. Also to be able to know the process of the cacao from it birth, it was for my magical and I will be grateful for my whole life to my friends Daniel and Rivelino who were giving to me this opportunity. Thousand graces (thanks)!!!

Also it was pretty to experience a way different from meditation in the middle of so many beauties since they were not my physical eyes them they perceived all that. It would invite all to enjoy an adventure full of adrenaline and extreme treks and know a bit more of our beautiful Peruvian Jungle and the beautiful Chazuta ... more that wonderful, thank you for the experience my Chuen.

The next day we did a hike to sulfur thermal baths of Chazutayacu. The hike itself was full of stunning scenery, and upon arrival to the baths I was breath taken. Sitting in the relaxing water, surrounded by forest, listening to the river flow below--it was all food for the soul. I can't wait to go back to camp there! All in all a very memorable, beautiful time.

Walking out through farmed and forested hills to waterfalls and hot-springs, taking trips down the river Huallaga to visit jungle communities, welcomes sung and danced. Ever tried stewed caterpillars? A glimpse of the ancient wisdom of the jungle from those who never forgot it as viewed through the prism of modern Peru, some fragile knowledge is safeguarded by the people of the surrounding hills.
A couple of pots with a local ceramicist, net fishing and learning from cacao producers about how destroyed areas of forest can be regenerated are amongst the things I’ve encountered here. Also witnessing the sad destruction of forested areas – always the sad duality.

The 2 hour boat trip from Chazuta to the hot springs was an adventure filled experience. Cruising down the river surrounded by dense high jungle on both sides really shows the high Amazon in all its glory. The hot springs itself was a fantastic therapeutic experience. The water was just the right temperature for a thoroughly relaxing, soothing bath/shower. I didn’t want to leave and felt totally rejuvenated leaving. On the way back was one of the highlights of the trip when we stopped off at one of the isolated villages in the jungle called Callanayacu. We were welcomed here with amazing hospitality and friendliness where we were offered a delicious meal of local organic produce. It really gave a first hand insight of how local Amazonian families live on a daily basis in this beautiful part of the world. I would have no hesitation in recommending sacharunaadventure.com for a real insight into Peru and its cultures, especially the high jungle. The attention and care we were given was exceptional and our days spent were highly enjoyable and rewarding.
Thank you so much..
